The Hyundai 3D stereo monitor series
W240S, S320D & S465D enable 2D and 3-D viewing experience using
circular polarization glasses.
OpenGL 3D applications are supported with nVidia Quadro Graphiccards using
XP & Windows 7.
The displays are optimal with the new
FujiFilm FinePix REAL 3D W1 Camera.

The Hyundai W240S 24” (60,96 cm), S320D 32” (80 cm) and the S465D 46” (115 cm) screen format enable 3-D stereo experience in a sensational way: due to the use of circular polarised filters in combination with polarisation glasses on the screen surface.
Beside the operation in multimedia applications they are suitable for the use in professional environments as well. For example 3-D models out of computer based engineering, molecular modelling, GIS can be displayed more plastically and thus allows a presentation close to reality.
Another usage is 3-D Postproduction. The only requirement for this is the support of a horizontal interlaced 3-D stereo signal like tools such as AVID Media Composer or IRIDAS Framecycler does.
At last, without any restrictions, all displays can be used as an conventional PC monitor displaying 2D content in a sharp and brilliant way.
The S320D and S465D displays offer an integrated 3-D formatter box supporting side by side format as well as a virtual 3-D mode for 2D content.
Additional polarisation glasses optimised for Hyundai 3-D displays in different designs are available.

3-D Software Package
The scope of delivery of the W240S include the following software tools which allow the running of different 3-D applications:
Display Set-Up
The Display Set-Up software ensures the correct configuration of your HYUNDAI 3-D monitor.
3-D Media Player
The 3-D Media Player plays a wide range of 2D and 3-D movies and photos, including open format files
(.avi, .mpg, .jpg, etc) and DVDs.You can watch standard defintion 2D DVDs in high impact stereoscopic
3-D at run time with 2D to 3-D conversion technologies and play a variety of open format 3-D media files
(.avi, .mpg, .jpg, etc) named in adherence to the 3D file naming conventions. It also enables the play of
3-D DVDs on your stereoscopic 3-D display.
3-D Launchpad
TriDef Launchpad enables you to play supported games in 3D. For each game it is necessary to have a
3D-game driver installed. Both monitors comes along including drivers for Quake III and Google Earth.

3-D Drivers
The software package includes free 3-D drivers for more then 100 Game titles as well as a Google Earth 3-D support.
If your software supports the horizontal interlaces 3-D format, then it will work with the Hyundai monitor series. Professional software packages such as the amira® (molecular modelling) and many stereo video player software and 3d still images viewers are supporting this format.
Please note that the monitor will only display 3-D images when the software is written to create stereoscopic display output. The display will not automatically convert standard graphics output to stereoscopic output. Also stereoscopic viewing is only supported at a resolution of 1920x1200.
3-D visualization will not work correctly if the display resolution is set to any other value.
